It is the ceramic of the Big Green Egg that reflects the heat, generating an airflow that makes the ingredients and dishes exceptionally tender.
The Big Green Egg ceramic was partly developed by NASA and the production process takes place in North-America according to the strictest quality standards, which explains the exceptionally high quality. Optimal temperature control
In the Big Green Egg, you can regulate and maintain the temperature between 70 and 350°C to the degree, even when the outdoor temperature is far below freezing.
As a result of the high quality heat-insulating ceramic, external temperatures do not affect the temperature inside the EGG.

For more than 25 years we have had an exclusive partnership with our ceramics producer in Mexico, where no other kamado brand is made. This high-end ceramic producer is ISO 9001 UL certified and therefore meets the highest quality standards. Before a Big Green Egg leaves the factory it undergoes a final, very thorough inspection.
Thanks in part to our certified factory and the inspection process, we stand fully behind our product and offer a limited lifetime guarantee on the materials and manufacture of all the ceramic parts of the EGG.
